ƒYOU MAY OBTAIN A PRINTED COPY
ƒOF THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS
ƒBY PREPARING YOUR PRINTER AND
ƒPRESSING 'P' TO CONTINUE.
ƒTHE DISK LABELER+ BY FRED LAYBERGER
THE DISK LABELER+ IS AN EASY AND
FLEXIBLE WAY TO KEEP TRACK OF FILES
ON YOUR FLOPPY DISKETTES. WITH IT YOU
CAN CATALOG ALL OF YOUR FILES AND
PRODUCE A NEATLY PRINTED LABEL FOR
EACH DISKETTE. EACH LABEL TELLS YOU
AT A GLANCE THE TITLE OF THE DISK -
THE # OF BLOCKS FREE - A COMMENT OF
YOUR CHOICE AND THE FILENAME TYPE AND
# OF BLOCKS USED FOR UP TO 144 FILES.
IF THE NAMES OF ALL YOUR FILES WILL
NOT FIT ON A SINGLE LABEL ADDITIONAL
LABELS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE PRINTED.
ROTARY AND FILE CARDS CAN ALSO BE
PRINTED TO GIVE YOU QUICK ACCESS TO A
COMPLETE RECORD OF ALL THE FILES IN
YOUR LIBRARY. FILES CAN ALSO BE LISTED
IN A 3 OR 5 COLUMN PER PAGE FORMAT.
ONE OF THE MORE SIGNIFICANT '+'
FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM IS ITS
ABILITY TO CREATE A MASTER FILE OF
DIRECTORIES.THIS MASTER FILE CAN THEN
BE USED TO PRINT OUT DIRECTORY FILES
SEQUENCED AS RECORED OR ALPHABETICALLY
BY DISKNAME. WITH THIS FEATURE IT'S
VERY EASY TO PRINT SEVERAL DIRECTORY
LABELS/LISTINGS AT ONE SETTING.
THE MASTER FILE CAN ALSO BE USED TO
CREATE AND PRINT OUT A LISTING OF
UP TO 1200 DIRECTORY ENTRIES
ALPHABETICALLY BY FILENAME.
₧NOTE........
PRIOR TO USING THE DISK LABELER+
YOU SHOULD CREATE A 'MASTER DISK' BY
USING A FILE COPIER SUCH AS 'SD FILE
COPIER' TO COPY THE FOLLOWING FILES
ONTO A NEWLY FORMATTED DISKETTE.
1. DISK LABELER+
2. DISK LAB.SORT
3. DISK LAB.MSORT
4. DISK LAB.INST
5. DISK LAB.DIR
YOU WILL NOW BE ABLE TO SAVE UP TO
137 DIRECTORY FILES ON THIS 'MASTER
DISK'. IF YOU HAVE MORE THEN 137
DISKETTES YOU CAN ORGANIZE THEM INTO
CATAGORIES AND HAVE A 'MASTER DISK'
FOR EACH CATAGORY.
UPON ENTERING THE PROGRAM YOU WILL BE
PRESENTED WITH THE MAIN PROGRAM MENU.
ƒ FROM THE MAIN MENU YOU CAN...
